Windham Central Supervisory Union Boards

The Windham Central Supervisory Union (WCSU) is defined by its expansive scale and deep commitment to collaborative educational governance. Spanning ten distinct towns and overseeing the operations of five individual school districts and seven schools, the WCSU is recognized as one of the largest geographic supervisory unions in the state. This extensive footprint requires a highly coordinated and adaptive administrative approach to serve our diverse communities effectively.

Our educational framework is fundamentally driven by a collaborative partnership between the WCSU central administration and our local school boards. These local boards are crucial partners, acting as highly engaged and vested advocates for the academic, social, and emotional well-being of every student within the Union. Their active participation ensures that governance is transparent, accountable, and deeply rooted in the specific needs and values of each community we serve.

The local boards provide critical oversight and strategic support to the supervisory union leadership. This unified governance structure allows the WCSU to execute a comprehensive, long-term educational strategy designed to foster continuous improvement across all seven districts.
