Vetting Digital Tools for Student Use
The educational software market is evolving rapidly. Teachers are choosing new technology tools in support of student engagement and student outcomes. WCSU observes the following guidance when Vetting Digital Tools. (opens a new tab)
All teachers should be aware of Protecting Student Data Privacy Guidelines for Teachers (opens a new tab). While teachers are encouraged to preview and try new websites and educational tools, if students accounts are being created, the app or site/service must follow the "Vetting Digital Tools" procedure above.
