WCSU Technology

Windham Central has made significant investments in technology and teacher training in integrating technology into daily classroom activities. Classrooms are equipped with presentation technology including Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) TVs, projectors, document cameras, and audio systems to support and enhance learning experiences for all students. Each student in the WCSU has a managed Chromebook assigned to them. Chromebook "plus" models have been distributed to staff and some high school students. These devices include more memory, faster CPUs, and touch screens allowing for greater work processing, making art, and other interactive uses. Windham Central has developed and maintains a modern Wide Area Network (WAN). Network hardware and software is monitored and updated on a rotating basis in concert with federal grants to support academic computing environments in rural areas.

High-quality technology that empowers every student to reach their full potential and become a lifelong learner.
