The WCSU Math Committee compiled a list of resources, given feedback from colleagues. We hope you find something new and that continues to improves math teaching and learning in our SU. We welcome your feedback!

A site where the Agency of Education houses resources and professional learning materials from this school year’s offerings.
PreK-8 (although not as much for older grades); per teacher fee $99/school year; free trial; for use on white/interactive board; math/literacy/social studies/science
PreK-Pre-Calculus; free CCSS lesson plans/worksheets/warm-up/exit tickets/HW pages; instructional videos (focus standards)
PreK-6, free worksheets by topic; multiple versions focusing on same skill
PreK-Algebra II (Pre-Calculus coming soon); free trial; fairly inexpensive (eg. for 66 students approximately $600/year); when used consistently, notable student gains
K-8; video lessons by teachers
PreK-Alg II; video lessons, pictoral/written explanation of topics; worksheets; great student/parent resource if HW help needed
PreK-6 games/workshops for interactive/white board
PreK-Geometry jeopardy and other games
PreK-Calculus; free (and pay) teacher created materials
K-5; activities connected to each CC standard (games (all parts can be downloaded), worksheets, language arts connection: suggestions for picture books/read alouds))
PreK-Calculus; video lessons (very procedural) for use in the classroom and at home; practice available for skills after the lesson is viewed; if students sign-up and add teacher as a coach, teacher can assign work and receive an email update as to when site is used; can be used as part of flipped classroom
National Council ; very broad; free access to many materials; if you become a member, access to all lessons/videos/journals/etc.
PreK-Geometry; good site for worksheets; some can be customized
PreK-6; worksheets; can be customized
K-12; interactive site; how-to information re: lessons for the teacher; extention work
K-2; great for math centers, lower elementary addition; download PDFs with all materials
8th grade/HS geometry; great 3-D models for students to manipulate; students can make their own
How to write code (LAFTER/HEY program)
Pre-Algebra-Calculus; practice worksheets; similar to IXL problems, but printable
